It has been a very long time since we shared our personal workout schedule. The last time we shared our personal workout schedule was back in Jan of 2014.   We never really meant to stop sharing it. We just kind of forgot.

Although, we do share highlights of our fitness in our weekly sparks posts.

Lori shared her activity when she was pregnant here on the blog. She also has been sharing her weekly activity inside purely fit life for her post partum.

But being that it’s a new year and one goal we both have is to FOCUS on getting our strength back!!

We thought sharing it here on the blog would help keep us accountable.  This is one reason people have blogs, right? To document things. To share the journey.

So we hope to share our personal workout routine here on the blog. Hopefully this year we do a better job in remembering to post it 🙂

For us getting and staying fit this new year is more than just workouts. It’s about getting FIT in all parts of life. That is what we promote here on the blog. Being fit starts from the inside.  Staying strong even during the hardest life battles and never giving up on your dreams. Working hard to make things happen!

Our weekly workout routine for Jan 11 – 17th

Sunday – 20 minute walk.

Monday – Both did 100 reps of kettlebell swings (M- using 15lbs KB and L- using 10lb, both starting light as we build our strength back). Lori also did some core conditioning exercises.

Tuesday – Lori did purely fit life club weights #17 workout. Michelle did workout #5 from our 7 day challenge.

Wednesday – Michelle did workout #6 from our 7 day challenge.

Thursday – Both did purely training #87 workout.

Friday – Both did 150 reps of kettlebell swings. Lori also did some core conditioning exercises.

Saturday (today) – Nothing yet. Maybe a walk.

Top pictures were taken in 2013 where we both felt the strongest we’ve ever had in our fitness journey (the workouts that we did you can see inside our 7 day challenge) and bottom pictures were taken at the end of 2014. 2014 was an interesting year in terms of fitness. Lori was pregnant for 9 months of it, going through post partum healing and ab separation, and Michelle battled eczema on and off the whole year.  Overall in 2014 we managed to stay strong and active the best we could, but 2015 we are motivated to get STRONG from the inside out once again! It will be a journey. But that is the exciting part. You can look back and see progress each week… each month.

Remember you have to commit to yourself to see changes. You have to put in the work. We will be here sharing our fitness journey back to better health. We hope you follow and join along with us. Make 2015 your year to focus on YOUR health.

It’s time to be better, feel better, and lead fuller, happier, more confident lives!  Let’s do it together 🙂

  1. You both look great, despite it being a tough year you guys both had a great foundation of strength. Being consistent about your workouts creates great mental strength too which has seen you through the challenges of last year. You two will succeed in your girls for 2015 because you are super motivated. Thanks for being my workout buddies and helping me stay fit, happy and healthy!

  3. I am older than you guys, and super overweight (so probably not your typical follower), but for some reason, I love your blogs! You guys are so positive, and share so much of your life, both positive and negative, that you inspire me. I love your recipes, reading about little Madison, your struggle with eczema, and now your fitness stuff. I am going to look at some of your orkouts and try something I can handle to start off. I need to get a kettle bell (any idea where I can get one?), and some other equipment. Any recommendations? And also, any recommendations for which of your workouts to follow if I am a newbie? Anyway, I look forward to reading more!

  5. Hey beautiful ladies,
May I just say thank you a billion times over?! And here’s why. You inspire by being REAL. You share about being HUMAN. You constantly remind me that the here and now is something to be grateful for, and yet to still strive for further strength and well-being in the days to come.
    Lori + Michelle = AWESOME.
