A warm crust topped with creamy avocado cream, topped with spicy peppery-mustardy arugula, savory hemp seeds, runny egg and cacao nibs for fun.  We like the bitterness of cacao nibs mixed with nutty flavor of hemp seeds.

Runny egg yolk makes a drool-worthy topping because runny yolks are the best.

The ultimate breakfast pizza loaded with healthy toppings!

We added hemp seeds and cacao nibs on top for some crunch! They make a weird, yet wonderful flavor combination. We know we are weird. Cacao nibs on pizza?!?! Yep, we are obsessed with them. Of course you don’t have to put them on your breakfast pizza – add any toppings you like.

Hi. Looks great. I would like to make the parsnip version of this and clicked on that recipe, but I have a few questions. What type of gelatin do you use…plain? Dose it matter what brand? How do you cook the parsnips to use in this recipe. How long will the bread last and dose it freeze well. Last question…for the lighter nut butter version is there it’s 3T nut butter and ?? Amy if any coconut oil? Thank you!

purelytwins January 22, 2015 - 12:15 pm

We use Great Lakes gelatin the green can. But you can use the red can. We buy it off Amazon. We cook the parsnips in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes or so. The bread will last 2 -3 days, and yes it freezes well. And there is just 3 tbsp nut butter no oil, I will update that part.

Debbie January 22, 2015 - 2:09 pm

Thank you for your quick reply. I have unflavored Knox gelatin and would like to make the recipe as soon as possible. Do you think it would work in this recipe until I am able to purchase the other brand? Thank you

Thanks for sharing! Arugala and avocado cream sounds yummy! How long do you think the cream will last in the refrigerator? I can think of lots of ways I’d like to use it!

purelytwins March 5, 2015 - 8:20 pm
