Baby M is kicking away. She is so active at night that it keeps me up sometimes. Crazy to think that I have less than 8 weeks to go. Of course baby M only knows when she will be making her appearance!
Thank you for the sweet words about the house remodeling. It feels so nice to be done. Now I can really focus on prepping the house for a baby. Jax is still confused on how we spend so much time in the nursery and my growing belly. It is harder for him to lie on my lap these days. It’s really funny when he is lying on my belly and baby M starts to kick. Jax doesn’t understand what is happening 🙂
I am in the middle of my 32 weeks of pregnancy. It feels almost like yesterday that I was at 14 weeks and just really starting my whole pregnancy journey. Crazy. Time is flying by. This past Sunday the sun came out so Michelle was able to snap a few more maternity photos for Gary and me. And Jax of course was in a few. Now it’s the editing phase before we can share them.
Pregnancy update at week 32
PREGNANCY WEEK 32 UPDATE:
Current food cravings?
Puddings. Avocado. Goat yogurt. Figs and peaches. Along with my other normal eats but anything that’s thick and smooth is all I want. I am not having any food aversions. Most foods sound good to me. No issues. I am loving all kinds of foods! I am just keeping a balanced diet with lots of healthy fats. Overall I always feel full and satisfied.
Here is what I ate yesterday.
After a mini workout in the morning it was time to fuel up.
Like I mentioned I have been loving puddings! Here is a fig green pudding (well smoothie in a bowl). It is full of protein powder, goat kefir, frozen figs (they were fresh Ones that we froze), little gelatin, cod liver oil, vitamin D and coconut oil. And enjoyed some black decaf coffee with it. No bulletproof lately as I have been liking plain coffee again.
Lunch again was another pudding. This time it was avocado pudding served with sauteed romaine (to get my greens in) and red snapper topped with coconut oil and sea salt. Avocado pudding was half avocado, little cucumber, more romaine leaves, cilantro, mint, chorella powder, gelatin, coconut oil, stevia and cacao nibs.
I enjoyed a few snacks of new recipes for a side project Michelle and I are working on. This was a tahini lemon dough ball.
Another snack I took a few bites of some other recipes we created yesterday. It was a great day as all afternoon I was able to sample all these new recipes.
Dinner was another new recipe! Here is recipe video for this amazing mouth-watering sandwich. (make sure to check back here on the blog or subscribe to our youtube so you don’t miss a video). It is a goat cheese fig sandwich. OMG so good!! I was looking forward to that sandwich all day 😉
Dessert was some gelatin mixed with tahini topped with cacao nibs. The best! Michelle’s and my favorite treat to end our nights.
Similar things as I have mentioned previous weeks.
No bloating or any major swelling yet. No fatigue. My energy is good. Not great but I am happy as I am still able to do most things without too much struggle. Somethings just take a little bit longer or require assistance. I have experienced a little cramping/abdominal pain. Nothing outrageous. Almost like mini period cramps.
My dreams are starting to get a little weird. Nothing about labor yet. I dream of other odd things. I know one time I had a dream of having baby M and I was in high school. I know strange! But everyone in high school seemed to have babies. Let’s get this straight I am not promoting teenage pregnancies… this was just my crazy dream! But in that dream I kept forgetting about baby M. I was so stressed and upset at myself during the dream and when I woke up aI could not believe I would dream that! I can’t get over some of the dreams I am having now. I heard about pregnancy causing crazy dreams and so far it has been true. I can’t image what I will be dreaming of over the next few weeks.
Wedding ring is still on as I have no signs of swelling yet.
Don’t really see any yet. I try my best to keep my belly moisturized with a homemade lotion that I made.
This week no. I am enjoying this stage of pregnancy and grateful everything is going well. I don’t miss too many things. Well, besides having my ‘old’ body back but I think most pregnant women think like that especially when your belly starts getting really big and you feel like you waddle. That’s the point I am getting to.
How is your skin?
My skin is doing great! No major complaints! Third trimester has really treated my skin well. I am so happy and feel so confident in my skin. It’s an amazing feeling to have. I do admit sometimes I think about how my skin is going to react when the pregnancy is over. Is my acne going to come back? I hope not!
How is digestion?
Digestion is doing great. Bowel movements are still doing the best they can during all the changing hormones I am experiencing all the time. I am overall pleased with how well my digestion has been during this whole pregnancy so far. I do get some acid reflux when I eat too fast. Sometimes I have a little extra gas but nothing that’s too unbearable or discomforting.
Total weight gain/loss?
I actually had a doctor check-up yesterday, so they were able to weigh me. I gained about 1/2 pound since my last check-up 2 weeks ago. My blood pressure is still low and no bleeding or headaches. Doctor is very pleased with how well my pregnancy has been. My belly measures right on target with what it is supposed to be and baby M’s heart beat is 152bpm. I love hearing her heart beat. Now that I don’t have ultrasounds anymore (unless something happens) it is nice to hear the heart beat. I wish I could have another ultrasound as I just want to see her little face 🙂
They did check my iron levels and they were a tad lower than last time. Nothing alarming yet. Overall baby M and I are going great!! I go back in 2 weeks for another check-up then I think I go to once a week check-ins!! Getting so close.
I feel lots of tapping and squirming throughout the day. Baby M is settled into her position for birth with her head-down, bottom up.

Last week was filled with more rest days than I normally do. I was resting more with Michelle, since she was taking a longer break from working out. We were able to stay active with house related things and managed to get some things checked off our to-do list! And I filmed two workouts by myself. I admit it was a little weird filming workouts without Michelle. She is my workout buddy, so I missed her.
My energy is still strong. No extra tiredness yet. I am able to wake up at a normal time and go to bed at my normal time with no naps. I know that might change here as I continue to get closer to my due date. I am enjoying the energy and being able to do most things without too much difficulty.
Now turning the subject to essential oils and pregnancy. You do have to be a little careful with using essential oils while being pregnant but, by all means, you can still use them. They are beneficial and helpful during this time in your life. I feel they have helped me on many different levels.
Please do your own research before trying anything new. I slowly started to add essential oils into my pregnancy over time. I did not rush it or over do it.

How to use essential oils are great to use during pregnancy:
Rub on feet
For circulation –> rub aroma touch doTerra essential oil blend on feet
I know using essential oils is not for everyone. And that’s ok. I just really like them and have noticed huge improvements when I use them. I especially love diffusing different oils to get their different benefits. When rubbing oils on my body I dilute them with coconut oil. Again I don’t go overboard with them. I usually rub my feet in the morning and at night with different oil and use the diffuser for other oils.
