Well, yesterday was not the greatest day for us.

We ran into some major camera issues.  Our main Canon that we use to film our videos doesn’t seem to be working any more. We started having issues with it a few weeks ago but kept pushing through hoping it would continue to work for us. It had other plans. So, now we are facing if it’s worth fixing it or getting a new camera. We really don’t have the money for a new one. We are in a huge dilemma as videos are a huge part of our business!

But we kept our spirits up and continued on with our day. We are keeping our faith that everything will work out.

After about 3 cups of water we enjoy 1 cup of warm water followed by CALM and vitamin C. (we don’t do this everyday)

After that we make our half caff bulletproof coffee in our vitamix.

After our workout we enjoyed a lovely pudding.

We love using coconut milk blended with gelatin to make delicious thick puddings.

Like we mentioned in the video we did an experiment with beet juice.We each juiced 2 whole beets.

The reason why we did this was that we read this article over on high on clear skin about drinking beet juice to see if you pee turns red from it. And if it does turn red that supposedly means your body is not absorbing nutrients.  Pretty interesting right?

Well, our pee never turned red the rest of the day. So we are thinking that’s a good thing! We are hoping this means that from our long journey of healing our gut that are bodies are slowly making improvements with mineral absorption.

We are not really protein bar people. They never seem to sit well in our stomachs for whatever reason.

We did think that these bars were pretty good. Soft and chewy. Good overall nutrition facts too. If you love protein bars definitely check these bars out as you may like them!

And for the nut butters – love. It’s hard not to love nut butters, right?  We loved both of these flavors. If you love nut butters give these two a try! The cacao cherry one reminded us of thick frosting. Yummy.

We have a feeling those two jars will be gone very soon 😉

    That beet article surprised me – my pee always turns pink after beets and I thought that meant I had a good ‘transit time’!   2. I am in love with nut butters, I loved trying out Onnit’s nut butters last year at Blend, I wish I could find it here! I love how clean their ingredients are. I’m not a huge fan of protein bars either, they’re too dense for me. I need to try the beet test, I think I have some to use up!

  3. I love beet and strawberry juice, yum… Sorry to hear about the electronics issues, that is really frustrating. The iphones not a bad replacement though, you could always use that for awhile

  5. Sorry about the camera – technology is the best and the worst, depending on how it behaves! And the nut butters look delicious (I’m totally addicted to sunflower butter and almond butter). Do you find that nut butters affect your skin at all? I’ve heard various things about nut butters causing acne/the best ones to eat, etc. but I wondered what you guys thought. 🙂

  7. Oohh, I love nut butters too. It’s so hard to get them in Malaysia where I am living/working right now. When I do find them, it’s $20 for a jar of AB! Crazy. And what’s even crazier- I actually will buy them! The things you do when you’re in a foreign land and in search of familiar things…
