Thank you for the sweet comments on my pregnancy update. I am so blessed to have such an amazing community and family! You are the best. Michelle is back. I picked her up from the airport late afternoon yesterday. She ended up having the same baggage claim issues like I did. Crazy. But both her bags made it so that’s always a good thing. And I brought a little visitor in the car to greet her as Jax missed his aunt.
At the beginning of my pregnancy I was all about cheese and savory items. Do you remember all the differentpizza-cheeseinspired things Michelle and I created? Oh how I loved them all. The other day we created this delightful bbq inspired pizza with a homemade bbq sauce! This time we were not lazy in making our own sauce like we were with the first pizza we made.

It can be made in just a few simple steps! And anyone can make it.
You won’t be buying store bought sauces anymore. Nope. Promise this sauce is a keeper. It’s our current go-to sauce for anything tomato or pizza related. We are so proud of ourselves for making our very own homemade bbq sauce. Now it’s not quite like the traditional bbq sauce but we think it is rather darn tasty! And worth sharing.
In under 30 minutes you have yourself a quick and healthy bbq inspired pizza. Of course you don’t have to put salmon on it if you don’t want to. You can leave it plain with just veggies and/or cheese. Or you can add any meat of choice.
Have fun with it. It’s pizza, so why not?
