Happy Saturday friends!

Quick reminder –> don’t forget about our 2 giveaways happening now…
1) cloth diapering essential kit
2) copy of our No Flour Cracker and Flatbread cookbook (giveaway over)

Okay… let the MCT oil taste-off begin.

mct oil taste off bulletproof vs caveman with purelytwins

We bought both these MCT oils with our own money. These thoughts and opinions are all our own. We hope you enjoy the video. It’s pretty funny, especially our faces when we try them on camera. Jax makes some appearances especially when we do our kettlebell swings.

Plus we are sharing our progress with doing pull-ups and chin-ups. Ready to see us make a fool of ourselves?!Β  Just keeping it real over here πŸ˜‰

Don’t you just love our faces after tasting the MCT oils, haha.

The two MCT oils that we mentioned in this video is from Caveman Coffee CoΒ and Bulletproof coffee from Upgraded Self. Again we bought with our own money. We have been enjoying both brands oils and feel both are good quality.

As you can see we have more work to do with our pull-ups and chin-ups. Though the chin-ups are easier for us. We are incorporating other exercises to help strengthen our backs even more which will help with us doing pull-ups. We try do some form of pull-up at least once a day, it doesn’t always happen. But we are making progress. Even a small progress is a step forward πŸ™‚

michelle narrow grip pullups

Little by little we will get there!

lori chin up progress

We are looking forward in continuing our journey to make our backs stronger to help with our posture.

I (Lori) have been able to do the pull-ups by using the resistant bands, they really help as I have a growing belly now. I hope to continue doing them until my body tells me otherwise. I feel baby M likes them.

We got the resistant bands to help us with our pull-ups from Rubberbanditz. We bought these bands with our own money.

We have a packed day today with several things to get done.

Currently sipping on our coffee before we tackle it all.

Wishing you all the best this Saturday! xo

Do you have a pull-up bar at home? Do you use resistant bands to help?

Do you like MCT oil? Do you use MCT oil?

Did you do your 37 reps of kettlebells swings for our challenge? Let us know if you did!

  2. How cute is Jax??? Pull ups are so hard, I can only do 2 max but its also something I try to do everyday. Every time I pass the bar I try to do at least one.

  3. What is the point of the MCT oil? I mean I get it – the benefits listed on the bottle…but…is it really something super special that does what it says it does?

Do you get the same “benefits” if you simply consume palm and coconut oil?

This is a very curious subject for me.

Good on you girls for the pull-ups!

  4. Are you using the MCT oils in your bulletproof coffee or just straight up coconut oil? Also, have you found that the bulletproof coffee helps with the poops? (I need all the help I can get! haha). Hope you both are having a great weekend so far! πŸ™‚

    1. yes we use 1 tbsp MCT oil in our bulletproof coffee with some ghee. Some days we feel it helps with us going poo, but not everyday.
