Bodyweight workouts have been something we’ve been doing for many years and still enjoy them. We personally have seen a huge improvement in our strength through bodyweight exercises.  By using just our bodies to get a good workout in empowers us inside and out.   2. I do something called hip flexor burners that is really effective. Basically a series of leg lifts and they really do burn!

  4. If it was good enough for Bruce Lee… I love bodyweight exercises bc they promote functional muscle mass unlike lifting weights only.

  5. I love reading posts like this. I definitely prefer weights over bodyweight exercises, but I also know that variety is key. Thanks for reminding of the benefits and sharing some workouts!

  6. It’s easy to talk yourself out of exercising at home, because it’s likely that there are many other tasks vying for your attention under your roof. It can be hard to justify devoting time to exercising when you’re at home and the laundry is piled up, there are dishes in the sink, or the kids need help with homework.
