So happy to see so many of you liking what we use for our hair care. There are so many products out there it can be hard to find ones that are natural and work. The same goes for the face.
As you all know we struggle with acne. Lori more recently, but we both suffered from severe acne. Luckily, we both are doing fantastic with our skin!! Sure we still have a few minor issues to work with like scars, uneven skin tone and a few wrinkles. Hey it’s apart of life. We get older. Our bodies change. Our skin changes.
A few things have changed over the past several months in terms of our skin care.
In today’s vlog we take you into our bathrooms to discuss our current daily natural skin care routine to keep our acne away.
Below are some of the products we are currently using and loving.
We love using oils on our skin.It may not be the thing for everyone, but our skin seems to like it.
Using oils on our faces helps with our overall skin complexion, helps with oil control and naturally hydrates our skin plus helps with inflammation for our acne.
For our night time routine: we use Dr. Bronners (we prefer the rose one), Herbivore botanicals nourish facial serum (Lori uses this one at night), Mountain rose herbs tamanu oil, and Nerium.
Our morning routine is just splashing some water on our faces and then putting some eminence rosehip whip moisturizer on our face. And Lori adds a few sprays of niacin complex spray.
Two new products that we mentioned in the video that we have noticed great benefits from using is our Nerium lotion and DoTerra essential oils. We will do a follow up post more about these products. Click here to see what we use to wash our faces with to get clear skin.
Remember we all have different skin with different needs so you will discover that different products may work or not work. We’ve tried thousands of different products over the years to help our acne. Now we are finally comfortable with our skin care routine and love the products we use. We hope you find some inspiration to find something new.

Monday – filmed a new purely fit life club workout a 16 minute jump rope cardio + 30 minute walk
Tuesday – purely inspire club workout #18 a lower body time challenge workout + 30 minute walk
Wednesday – Purely training #49 leg torture + 25 minute walk
Thursday – filmed a new purely fit life club interval workout + 15 minute walk
Friday – filmed a new purely training bodyweight workout (time challenge) + 15 minute walk
Saturday – Rest day.
Sunday – Yoga.

Overall we felt great with all our workouts. Feeling strong. We are still practicing our headstands and splits on most days, with a few TRX exercises for the back a few times a week. And doing a few pull-ups each day (which are still very challenging for us).
