Despite not working out much these past two weeks as I traveled, I come home feeling lean! Crazy to think that eating more and working out less is really good for the body….and the mind!

I plan to share more of my thoughts on this in the Purely Fit Life Club and my journey. I am not necessarily trying to get lean, just looking to gain a little more muscle ;)

  1. I wish I had your mind to come up with these amazing recipes. They all look so delicious and healthy! I agree sometimes our body respond by taking a break for a week. That is why I always use vacation weeks to cut back significantly on my workouts and let my body recover!

  6. congrats on your greatist feature! so happy to see non-shopped photos too! it’s so strange that we accept those kind of ads as not normal since we are non-shopped people in real life?! i hope more ads head this direction! sparking my week was this article about a 36yr old neurosurgeon who recently got a cancer diagnosis…it was a poignant but needed reflection and a great reminder of time. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/25/opinion/sunday/how-long-have-i-got-left.html?_r=2
