Highlights of the week from us:
Started the week off with drinking the colors of the rainbow! #elf4health challenge
First time having BluePrint Beet Juice and we found it a little too sweet for us, but still a nice change! We love the green one.
Pumpkin coconut flour chocolate chip cookies always a good decision.
Loving our new Christmas quilts! Thanks mom!
Our mom surprised us with these (we each got one) when we were home for Thanksgiving. She is so talented!
Made protein macaroons to enjoy with our breakfasts.
Coconut butter and plantains. The only things you need in life, haha
Did our planks this week! Purely Fitters, how did your planks go?
Took advantage of the days it was nice out to do work!
Love this dog.
Guess laying across chairs is more comfortable than laying in his bed.
We were very busy with making recipes…like grain-free sugar cookies to cinnamon buns!
Things sparked our interest:
8 mislabeled food — kind of scary to think about
Almond butter coleslaw — yum, thinking this would be great with tahini
Holiday vegan eggnog — we are not eggnog fans, but this sounds great
Life lessons to happiness — loved this outlook on changing having into want to
6 reasons why people not things make you happier — great reminders, especially this time of year
3 ways to get rid of belly — we agree with all 3 tips
12 complete vegetarian proteins — our favorites are buckwheat, hemp seeds, chia seeds, legumes, and spirulina
Heart disease, cholesterol, and saturated fats — you all know we love fats! And you should too 🙂
Why crash diets don’t work — many great points to remember
Twins Question: Why do you workout? Do you have all your Christmas decorations up?
Today’s challenge for elf for health is to write down 20 things we are grateful for….so we are off to go make our list! We recommend you to do it too. Always a good idea to reflect and remember things in your life that you are thankful for!
