This time of year everyone is thinking about eating too much, drinking too much, and not moving enough.

Well have no fear we have a lot of workouts coming that will help you MOVE your body. Challenge your body. And will keep your metabolism burning so you can enjoy the holidays.

Today’s Purely Fit Life workout literally kicked our butts! A 500 rep body weight time challenge.

This is 500 rep workout took us WAY LONGER than we thought. You all know we are big fans of workouts that under 30 minutes. Well this one took us over 30 minutes to complete.  WHOA!!

Yay, we know.

So get yourself ready for this total body fat torching workout.

We designed this workout to be fun and challenging that you can do with your family or maybe a co-worker.  ’Tis the season for sharing right? :)

This workout is filled with some great body weight exercises that will challenge you. Like our plank ankle double taps. Start in high plank position, try to keep hips centered to the floor, and abs engaged the whole time.  Focus on reaching for your ankles while pushing your butt in the air. This works the whole body. By the end of 50 reps you will be feeling it all over!

And you know we had to put a burpee in this workout. Well, we threw in half burpees.  Took out the push-up part. Although not sure what we were thinking when we added burpees in this workout, haha

We suggest:

  • A-fits (advanced peeps) :  Limit your breaks. Push yourself hard. Move as fast as you can.
  • B-fits (beginner peeps):  Go at a slower speed, take breaks when needed. Follow the modifications we mentioned in the video.  Try to do 25 reps.

Now get yourself warmed up and the come sweat it out with us in real time.

  5. omg. i think i would die if i did this haha. my strength/stamina has gone way down but i think my cardio endurance has improved with all my walking lately lol. i haven’t done any upper body stuff in a looooonnng time.

  6. You ladies look amazing and so does this workout! I love how you always include the side squats with leg lift…I always make clients do these on the bosu ball. You can never do enough squats…at least that is how I feel. ;) Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! XOXO

    Just tried this workout for the first time and oh my goodness, this plus kettlebell swings and working on pullups makes for tired arms!!! This was a great workout and I am sure I will feel it for the next couple of days. Thanks for sharing so many awesome workouts! :)
