disneyland adventure

Happy Labor Day friends!!

We made it back home late last night around midnight. It was a long few days as we showed some highlights yesterday. Today we are sharing a little more of our trip out west. We were not able to capture every moment, but did our best.

purely travel-01

Our journey to Cali started early Wednesday morning,

starbucks coffee

which meant lots of coffee!

smart water and magazines

Smart water and some reading materials ;)

travel food

More coffee and plantain bread!

banana and coffee

Once we arrived in Cali we met up the older sis to discuss the next few days…snacked on another banana and more coffee.

The weather was just amazing!

We stayed at the Marriott, so we had a nice walk every day to the Disneyland expo. Which we actually liked because it was the only time we got outside.

plam trees

Hi Mickey and Minnie.

ahi tuna salad

Love ahi tuna!

plank and bridge

We did manage to get a little plank and bridge action done in the morning.

perfect fit

Traveled with our favorite protein – Perfect Fit.

paleo breakfast

Enjoyed the same breakfast every morning.

banana breakfast bowl

So good! We will share more details of this soon as it is something we have been experimenting with.

Raw Threads booth all ready.

Thursday was set-up day and Friday was day one of selling.

dee and dum raw threads outfits

Our day one outfits – Dee and Dum!

salmon dinner

After a very busy first day, we were happy to finally get some food.

mmm salmon and veggies

plantain coconut oil

We ended our nights with this for dessert :) We made lots of plantain bread to enjoy, plus coconut oil!

Two of our favorite things together.

cindy and mermaid raw threads outfits

Our day two outfits.

shoes and socks

Both days we wore our reebok shoes and CEP compression socks, which helped saved our legs and feet from standing all day long.

water bottles

Traveled with our Contigo water bottles.

After another long day of selling and then breaking down the booth, we enjoyed our last dinner in Cali.

Salmon never gets old to us. We love it.

coconut water

Before our journey home we did enjoy a nice breakfast with our sister to discuss future expos and worked on some new design ideas. So excited!!

We did our best to stay hydrated but did not go that well, so thank goodness for coconut water. We just love how the California airport sells it.

Plantain bread

alternative baking cookie

Our travel food bananas and plantain bread. We also picked up this Alternative Baking chocolate chip cookie to try. Pretty good!! Different. A light soft cookie.

As much as we love bananas and plantain bread it was nice to have something different.

Hope you enjoyed our recap of our Disneyland adventure with Raw Threads. We had a good time. We love California! We also got to catch up with some friends – Heather, Bobbie, and Katrina.  Thank you to everyone who came by the booth. It was a pleasure meeting so many amazing people. Hope everyone who ran had a great race.

Now we have to get all caught up and get back into our regular schedule as we have a lot to do this month.

And we will not be getting our Purely Fit Life workout up today, but tomorrow we will have a new workout for you guys.

Enjoy your day!

i haven’t been on a plane since before 9/11. i’d love to hear exactly what you (are allowed to) take on a plane. i see the bananas. apparently okay to take your cooked plaintain bread in ziplock bags. anything else? okay to take water in your contigo’s? or only sealed bottles of water? or does that HAVE to be purchased at airport or in plane? ya’ll are so experienced in this traveling i’m sure there are others of us “out here” who would love to hear how you do it all! thanks.

  8. What a fun trip you all had! I LOVE LOVE your outfits!!! TOO cute.

  9. jealous of that cali weather! i had a little getaway this weekend…don’t know why i thought i could do 3 cocktails without feeling sick haha. i had to have some salmon salad at like 10pm to quell the queasy feeling whoops! it was super fun nonetheless! when i travel, i usually just rely on fruit and coffee for breakfasts :) i haven’t had protein powder in over a year! i get plenty from other sources and it’s saved me quite a bit of money too!

  10. I’ve never been to Disneyland (crazy I know!), seems like a great time!
