We have been eating well these past few days, and we are just getting started haha. Love when the parents come to visit, as we always have fun eating and drinking with them
We did get our #purelyfitlife workouts in early this week.
After huge success with our first ab workout and request for more ab routines…we finally got around to filming a new ab workout. Coming to purelyfitlife youtube soon!
Cannot believe we are finishing up #purelypower #purelyfitlife week 7. We are so proud of our Purely Fitters! Keep up the amazing and hard work everyone! Remember to focus on one day and one workout at a time giving it your maximum effort.
We love breakfast, do you?
On Tuesday, after our green juice, we enjoyed a bowl of homemade goat kefir mixed with chia seeds, coconut oil, cinnamon and bananas.
This past week we did enjoy juicing some beets. Just as good as we remember.
Mmm berries, banana, and perfect fit protein mush. Check out our little instagram video making it.
Cereal with dinner? No?

We were busy in the kitchen making some things to enjoy while the parents are in town. We made some plantain bread with figs, raw smores, and lots of cereal, plus some new recipes Oh yay!
The weather has been a bit cooler here, so we took advantage and had dinner outside.
Avocado, local grass-fed beef brisket (we cooked in slow cooker with some BBQ rub), roasted beets and zucchini, and sautéed spinach. Sooo good.
And dessert featured this sea salt caramel gelato. Michelle remembered many of you saying this flavor was good. It sure has been awhile since we enjoyed some of gelato. AMAZING stuff…worth every bite.
Especially with some snickerdoodle plantain cake!!
Promise we will share this recipe, as we did not take any real pictures. Oh darn we have to make it again.
Yesterday morning we all enjoyed a lovely cereal buffet for breakfast.

All served with creamy cashew milk that we blended a banana in it. So good. And so easy.

Enjoyed lunch out at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar.
YUM! Love how they offer lettuce wraps for your burger. We each enjoyed a buffalo burger.
After lunch we ran some errands then we (Lori and I) came home and enjoyed some plantain fig bread.
We also enjoyed dinner out. We don’t really eat out that much besides when the parents are in town. We tried out a new restaurant called Roosters Kitchen.
Loved the vibe and decor of this place. And loved how they try to get as much local produce as possible!
Hanger steak for Michelle and salmon for Lori. We split beets and spinach. Well we shared our dinner plates. Both dinners were beyond amazing. Full of flavor. Cooked perfectly! We also enjoyed a slice of pizza (that our mom ordered).
The food (and wine) was wonderful! We all left with happy full bellies.
After our meal out we arrived back at Lori’s house to enjoy some dessert.

We have 1 1/2 more days of yummy eats and hanging out with the parents! Cannot wait
Well we are busy working on some house things — like painting and hanging a few things. We promise to share pics.
