Today’s Purely Talk is about meal prep ideas and grocery shopping.
We received a question from Mandy if we can give some tips on how we meal plan and prep for the week.
Honestly we have never been into planning out meals. We just know what foods we like so we keep them on hand all the time.
But as you can see from our daily eats, we tend to eat a lot of the same things. Which to some that may be boring, but we like sticking to what our bodies like. Even if our general food choices change from time to time.
We do most of grocery shopping on the weekends from going to the farmers market on Saturdays and then finishing up on Sundays at regular grocery stores in our area. Check out this video we shared on instagram awhile back showing some food we bought.
Since we know what foods we like to eat, grocery shopping is pretty simple. We never make a list. We have been enjoying the same foods for so long that we know what to buy. And occasionally pick up new things to try.
Our meal planning for the week is just as easy, again keeping to simple meals. We do try to do meal prepping on Sundays and sometimes on Mondays.
