Hello luvs. Happy Tuesday! It’s going to be a beautiful sunny day here in NC and we are excited to get out to enjoy it.
And we wanted to say we apologize for our new #purelyfitlife six pack ab workout and video did not get up till 10pm last night. We had some internet and computer issues. But hopefully everything is taken care of. Thanks for your patience.
Ever since doing our 30 day gut healing journey it opened up our eyes to understanding and taking care of our gut. Since everything starts in the gut it is important to take care of it. We are not 100% healed yet but we are SOOOO much better now. Our digestion is overall strong (most days) and our skin issues are slowly being figured out. More on that below.
Yesterday we did our #purelyfitlife workout 1 sexy arms routine. We warmed up with doing a 3 minute plank hold.
Along with ending our workout with 50 push-ups and practiced headstands to continue our #purelyfit #whatsbeautiful goals.

Started my day with a green juice with banana and eggs. I had one banana with 3 whole eggs and coconut oil. Juice was kale, romaine, cucumber, orange, one carrot and fresh ginger.
Had a sleepy puppy on the sofa. Seriously his face expressions kills me.
Lunch was cod, white rice, half avocado, yellow summer squash and coconut oil.
Late afternoon snack was a local duck egg muffin that we used one duck egg mixed with a little carob, psyllium husk and ghee.
Played outside with Jax. Not sleepy anymore.
Both us of getting our daily vitamin D.
Dinner was grilled salmon with shredded brussel sprouts, mache lettuce, avocado and coconut oil and sea salt.
I started my morning just like Lori but instead of an orange in my juice I did 2 very small peaches. And sprinkled some cardamom on my eggs. Soooo good.
Lunch was the same thing as Lori Mix of cod, rice, avocado, coconut oil and spiralized yellow summer squash.
Dinner was some mache lettuce, avocado, shredded brussel sprouts and tuna. Topped with some coconut oil. Tried to make the plate look pretty. We admit we are not the best at plate presentation, mainly we get lazy and just throw the food on the plate.
Thoughts on our day:
Lori: Skin is doing better. Pimples are less intense and some are starting to go away. My acne scars leftover from previous cystic acne are becoming less red. I have been having good bowel movements too. So making improvements. It has been almost 6 weeks from starting to take vitex and know it takes awhile to start working. I plan to keep taking it as well as maca (which I try to get around 2 tsp a day). One thing I did notice when I first started taking maca again was that it helped me get my period. Pretty powerful stuff.
Michelle: My face is doing well, no breakouts in a long time. I am still dealing with the red bumps on my arms and eczema on legs. I have been going to the bathroom everyday like Lori which again is a huge improvement for someone like me who suffered from constipation all my life. My sleep is a lot better. I sleep through most nights! I notice high fiber vegetables due cause me tummy issues so I do my best to limit my amount of those at the moment until my gut is stronger.

Well we have been using it for weeks now so feel we are ready to share our true experience with taking them.
What do we think?
We like them a lot. Both of us felt a difference in our digestion when using them.
We took one pill in the morning with breakfast and one before bed. This bottle is high potency probiotics and we like it for when we are extra busy to boost up our healthy flora.
We like to take extra probiotics when traveling or extra stressed. Now we are in maintenance mode and do fine with taking just one pill a day. You have to experiment and see what makes your body happy.
Do we believe probiotics help with digestion?
Yes we do. We feel majority of people would benefit from taking a probiotic to help with building healthy bacteria in the gut and strengthen digestion. Along with eating other fermented foods like sauerkrauts, yogurts, kefirs and kombucha.
We will be adding Renew life to our list of favorite brands to buy.
