Michelle’s Monday recap:

It was time for me to head home, but before leaving town I enjoyed breakfast.

avocado egg banana breakfast bowl

Need I say more?? haha  Here is what I did: I mashed up one avocado with 3 whole eggs and half a banana. Ate the other half banana plain on the side.

Man was this a great combo. Lori and I have always enjoyed banana and avocados together from puddings to frostings. And eggs and avocado just go perfectly together. So I decided to combine all three together for a nice balance of carbs, fat, and protein.

sushi

Never thought sushi would make for great travel food, but it did.  Perfect salmon tuna avocado rolls thanks to wholefoods.

I enjoyed a kombucha and coconut water too. (unpictured)

And I must say I have the best sister, as she brought me dinner when I arrived home.

grass fed burger dinner

Two grass-fed burgers, steamed kale with raw carrots, hemp seeds, and lots and lots of coconut oil.

Another amazing meal.

raw dessert

And I was nice to save some raw cookies for us both to enjoy for dessert. We topped our raw cookie dough balls with some carob coconut oil frosting. YUM!

Lori’s recap:

After some warm lemon water (I am starting to have that in the mornings again). Not sure why Michelle and I stopped having it but we did. I am excited to have it again in the mornings before I eat to see how that helps with my skin and overall health. As I know warm lemon water is a good liver cleanser.

tree branches

After a bad rain storm Sunday night woke up to tree branches all over our yard and deck. The noise from them falling was so loud it woke me up in the middle of the night scared me half to death. Crazy.

eggs rice Breakfast was a bowl of white rice, arugula, 3 eggs and coconut oil. Soooo good. I am really liking white rice in my diet. It has always been super easy for me to digest and so far my tummy is really like it!

salmon brussel lunch

Lunch was some leftover salmon from the night before served with brussel sprouts, half avocado, sauerkraut, coconut oil and nutritional yeast. Amazing.

lovevizsla sticker

My older sister sent me this I love my vizsla sticker for my car! Love it!  Anyone else have one for their car?

eating bananas with avocado

Late afternoon snack was half avocado with a small banana topped with bee pollen cacao nibs. Love.

mahi rutabaga kale dinner

Dinner was mahi mahi, steamed rutabaga and kale topped with hemp seeds and coconut oil. And sauerkraut. Delicious.

My face is still about the same, no major improvements. (I have been taking pictures almost daily for records, so embarrassing that my face is inflamed again). I have not changed my face routine besides putting a vitamin C serum in the morning. I still feel my acne is coming from the inside. I am hoping the lemon water in the morning again will help along with me continuing to eat well balanced meals. I am not giving up. I know I can get acne free face again, just frustrating that after all I have done this is still happening! And even though I got my period last week I am still suffering from hormonal issues (I am going to see my OB/GYNO doctor this week). Hopefully soon I can get more answers. I will keep you updated on my skin.

till next time,

  1. Okay seriously just yesterday I was thinking…I should try to combine these avocados and a banana…is that a thing?? Apparently it is if the twins do it!! ;)

Once again, thinking I have an original idea but the twins have been there, done that! ;)

Your egg + fruit bowls intrigue me; I’ve never had fruit and eggs mixed together before, but it looks yummy. I do love avocado and banana together.

I have a 13.1 magnet, a WashU sticker, and a Friends of Forest Park (an urban park that I always work out in) sticker. I wish I had a dog, but I don’t. If I did, I would proclaim my love on bumper sticker as well ;) And yes, I love putting things on my car! I prefer magnets and those cling decals to actual stickers, though.

  3. I could eat eggs and avocado for breakfast every day! But I can’t say I’ve ever put a banana in there with it… hmmm. I’ll have to try it!

I like the eggs and avocado combo but I’m not sure about avocado with banana – I think the texture wouldn’t be my favorite (I’m sort-of a texture eater).

  6. I never would have thought of that breakfast combo, but it sounds good! : ) I really hadn’t missed fruit since I eliminated it, but I am starting to crave it! Can’t wait for it to be safe to reintroduce it!

quercertin, DAO supplements, and Neuroprotek LP can help with histamine reactions in food, if this is an issue with ur skin.
