I got a lot to cover in this post. So I better get to it!
Michelle and I’s workouts started off with a bang and got a little complicated towards the end of the week.
With both of us traveling this weekend (Michelle in Savannah, and I’m in Atlanta) we had to shift around our workouts some, but either way we got them done! We stayed focused and continued our fitness journey to reach our goals.

Remember it’s one day at time – one workout at a time. And that EVERY time you workout you are taking one step closer to reaching your goals!
So workout hard and get it done! You will feel great when it’s all done and you can look back to reflect on everything you accomplished! One way we stay focused and motivated is through looking at our fitness quotes weekly plus we really do just love it.
Sporting my bright green raw threads long sleeve (that I just realized I forgot to put my thumb in the thumb hole, oops), loving the bright colors (which they are doing 12 weeks of Christmas sale that is worth looking at)
Since we knew the end of the week’sworkouts were going to be tricky we started off the week with a kick in the butt workout from Zuzana.
Monday: warm-up was this 5 minute plank workout, workout: zwow #40 + some equalizer action with pull-ups and tri-cep dips (we are still working on getting a strong back and nice tri-ceps)
Tuesday: warm-up was our 8 minute plank workout, workout: red hot cardio from JennFit
Wednesday: Both felt like doing a full body weight session so that is what we did. Threw together this workout. Did 8 minute plank workout as warm-up.
Thursday: warm-up again 5 minute plank workout, workout: did our 10 minute cardio workout
Friday: yoga for Lori (off day for Michelle)
Saturday: (today) Lori is doing a 5k run with Gary and his family in honor of colon cancer, which her sister-in-law has.
Sunday: rest day (yoga for Michelle)
As you can tell we still do our #plankworkouts for warm-ups, depending on time we either do 5 minutes or 8 minutes. Try to always do about 5 minutes of cool-down stretching at end, we set our Gymboss Interval Timer for 30 second intervals and hold the stretch. Some days we do bonus exercises in the spots we are trying to work more – mostly do push-ups, pull-ups and/or tri-cep dips. Still have our perfect fit protein green smoothie usually with a banana with our turmeric, l-glutamine and fresh ginger.
A few shout outs:
Melissa knocked out our 16 minute cardio interval workout.
Meg looking amazing planking!
So happy to see Brooke doing our 5 min plankworkout! hope you are feeling better girl!
So honored to have our dear friend Gillian doing some of our #plankworkouts.
Great job Caity!!
Way to go Ash on your interval plank workouts!
Keep up the great work ladies!!! You all inspire us! xoxo
And we would like to say congrats to Kelly for being one of the top 20 fitness experts to follow on Twitter! Love you Kelly.
And Mary made our pumpkin chocolate chip chia seed cookies!
Now time for some Jax pictures because I just know you all love these
No stick is too big for him. All 40lbs of him.
Love his big floppy ears.
Mornings he is still waking up so he usually just loves sitting on my lap while I drink my water and watch the news. Love it when he crosses his paws.
Vizsla’s are the best lap dog. Okay I am bias but really they are. Anytime I sit down, he greets me by standing up me while wiggly his butt. Then after awhile of doing that he decides sitting on my stomach is where he desires to sit.
He gives the best hugs. Love him!
I will be giving an face/acne update this coming Monday as many of you have been requesting. Plus more yummy recipes coming your way!
Twins Question: If you have a dog or cat, do you like giving them hugs? Where does your pet like to sit? Anyone doing a race this weekend? Who else is loving perfect fit protein?
And now onto another Sponsor on Purelytwins.
The amazing Angelica, or Angel, who writes for the blog well-girl. Angel shares her life as well as her journey to better health. Her little baby Mila is adorable!!
She has amazing blog and a huge heart, make sure to check Angel’s site for inspiration and fun. We love her TV workout such a great idea to get moving while we watch tv!
Angel thank you again for being a sponsor of purelytwins, we are deeply grateful and honored!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Lori your hair looks so pretty in the pictures with your green shirt on! Did you curl it or is it naturally like that?
And of course, I love the Jax updates. Popcorn and him seem like they would get along just fine
