Hello Friends,
Happy Friday! I bet everyone is excited for the long weekend 
I know I am because that means Gary is home for 3 days, which means more house projects can start and hopefully get finished!
This weekend we have our first really BIG PROJECT that we are doing ourselves.
Building a fence!
Yep, you heard me…a fence. Gary is determined to build a fence for us (well really for Jax). Luckily, his dad is coming to help. I will be here to help when I can — but I have a feeling I will mainly be the cheering section.
What a great way to spend the holiday weekend haha.
To start off the long weekend I needed some much needed coffee.
Thinking there will be multiple cups consumed over the weekend.
Our fence material got delivered yesterday. Obviously Jax had to approve it.
Luckily, he liked it. We got the fence material from Lowe’s. I will share more pictures of our do it yourself fence project over the weekend. Should be interesting.
Now off to go tackle the day ahead, already did my plank workout and feeling focused. I have lots of decisions to make – thanks for the ideas and comments about paint color for my dining room. You guys are the best.
Never a dull moment around here.

Wowza! That is a big project. Have fun with that!
I’m just looking forward to a 3-day weekend. I need some time to relax after a super-busy week.

that is a big project! good luck! we paid someone a lot of money to build one for us after we got our second dog. turns out they only buried the posts 1/2 as deep as they were supposed. we dug up a post to prove it to them and so now, 4 years later, we’re getting a brand new fence! hopefully installed the correct way!

oh wow, do you know how deep they went? we are thinking of digging about 2 ft deep.
they were supposed to be 3 feet deep and were only buried 17 inches. ours started popping up after a few winters because they weren’t deep enough. but it might be different where you live!

Good luck with the fence! Yes! I have helped build a fence before, my dad was always into construction and re modeled out whole house growing up, so I got my hands dirty as well {hard to believe, i know} Have fun!!
